According to a news release, the Polestar 3 will make its “world premiere” in October 2022.

“Polestar 3 is the SUV for the electric age. Our design identity evolves with this high-end large luxury EV, with a strong, individual brand character,” Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath said in the release. “With this car, we bring the ‘sport’ back to the SUV, staying true to our performance roots.”

Orders for the vehicle will open as soon as the vehicle makes it debut, and production is expected to begin sometime in early 2023.

Currently, the Polestar 3 is expected to have a range of more than 300 miles, and the automaker is planning to introduce autonomous driving features in the future.

“This is a major milestone for our company,” Ingenlath said, “one that boosts our growth trajectory and takes us into our next phase.”
