Ever wondered why you have to go to the trouble of submitting a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR)?
Submission of your WSP is the gateway that allows employers access to a number of benefits.
Not only can an employer claim back its Mandatory Grant, but the employer can also apply for Discretionary Grants in order to fund PIVOTAL training courses for its staff.
Failure to submit will result in not receiving your Mandatory and possible Discretionary Grants; as well as losing valuable points on the Skills Development component of your B-BBEE rating.
Only employers with an annual payroll of more than R 500 000,00 per annum can submit a WSP and claim grants, as employers under this threshold are not obligated to pay Skills Development Levies.
The submission of these plans and reports is often a daunting and time-consuming exercise for employers. NEASA Labour Compliance has the knowledge and expertise to assist employers proficiently and effectively in this regard.
The deadline for WSP/ATR submissions is 30 April 2021.
Do not delay!
