The Collision Repairers Association of South Africa (CRA) has evolved as an organisation with passion, understanding and the will to provide results to our valued members and industry associates.
We are proud to be the voice of the auto body collision industry.
Our organisation consists of consultants and industry experts that are suitably qualified in all aspects of collision repair and related business management skills. The result is a skilled resource pool with high integrity and the willingness to continuously support and provide real benefits to all our members.
To date the CRA has achieved significant change with increased benefits to both our members and the public. We are on the road to creating market awareness and consumer insight and appreciation, not previously evident in our local market.
Our mission is to enforce a code of conduct that covers consumer protection, work force motivation, job security and ultimately peace of mind to business owners resulting in a secure, and beneficial return on investment.
Our membership is extended to equipment and service-related suppliers who have a similar vision and business ethics. At present, these include paint suppliers, a BB-BEE accreditation agency, an authorised health and safety compliance consultant, quoting and business management software suppliers, and high-end workshop equipment suppliers. We are confident this will result in better service, support and preferential rates through association.
Our website provides industry news, the ability to register client disputes for mediation, executive and regional executive council structures and our online Member Directory for profiling our members. The platform assists insurers, brokers, and consumers to make educated decisions with regards to selecting the most professional and capable repairers to refurbish vehicles within acceptable time frames and in line with warranty reinstatement protocols.
We are confident in the benefits you will gain as a result of a long-term relationship with our Association, including member collaboration, participation, enthusiasm and sharing of ideas with other members at organised events and online forums like our exclusive Facebook CRASA-Members Group.
