This is the perfect test drive service for outdoor enthusiasts.

Car camping has become increasingly popular during the global pandemic as a safe way for families to enjoy a weekend getaway. One SUV that’s ideal for outdoor adventure enthusiasts is the Hyundai Santa Fe as it’s available with camping equipment such as a mini table, camping chair, and sandwich boxes.

However, a regular test drive doesn’t effectively demonstrate the Santa Fe’s camping capabilities, so Hyundai is introducing a new test drive service aimed at outdoor enthusiasts. The new four-hour test drive service will allow potential buyers to take the SUV to a pre-reserved location and test the SUV’s camping facilities.

So far, the car camping test drive service is only available in South Korea at Yeongjongdo Wangsan Beach and Misa Gyeongjeong Park. Hyundai hasn’t announced if it plans to offer the service in the US.

If potential buyers want to trial a longer car camping experience Hyundai also offers a new service called Wheelping in South Korea that allows customers to rent a new Santa Fe or a new Tucson SUV and camping equipment for two days.

For the 2021 model year, the Hyundai Santa Fe was given an extensive update with bolder styling with a larger grille extending the entire width of the front, redesigned headlights and taillights, and a full-width light bar.

The interior is also more luxurious and high-tech, incorporating soft-touch materials, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a fully digital 12.3-inch driver’s display.

Under the hood, the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe is offered with a hybrid setup featuring a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection engine and an electric motor producing a combined 226 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, which can be sent to either the front or all four wheels. A plug-in hybrid version will also launch in 2021 with 261 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. US pricing for the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe has not been announced yet.
