Rivian announced it had produced 4,401 electric vehicles through Q2, a significant increase from the previous quarter.

According, a report from Electrek, the automaker’s output nearly doubled in the second quarter, a sign that ongoing supply chain issues could be letting up.

In total, Rivian has produced 7,969 vehicles since late last year. Per the report, the R1T electric pickup is assumed to make up the vast majority of those sales, though a definitive answer is not available since Rivian does not provide a model breakdown with its sales numbers.

Though it would need a significant boost through the second half of the year, Rivian President RJ Scaringe says the company is still well on its way to achieving its year-end goal of producing 25,000 vehicles.
