Las Vegas, Nevada – During the month of October, AAPEX will host weekly webinars to provide the latest trends, market intelligence and global perspectives on the future of the automotive aftermarket and strategies for growth.
The webinars will be free and will complement the Virtual APPEX Experience Nov. 3 to 5. The webinars will be led by global industry executives and are geared toward all segments of the automotive aftermarket supply chain.

Oct. 6 Webinar: “The changing landscape of low-cost countries.”
The focus of this webinar is on trade, tariffs, COVID constraints and navigating the new normal global supply chains, which have become common themes in today’s board rooms trying to find the best way to enable growth. Speakers will be Steve Ganster and Pilar Dieter of YCP Solidiance.
Oct. 13 Webinar: “Industry 4.0: The Digitalization of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Strategies for the Automotive Aftermarket.”
This webinar will discuss how all aftermarket companies can utilize vehicle lifecycle date and smart factories to optimize manufacturing processes. It will also cover how you can identify failures before they occur and how the overall aftermarket industry will need to compete in a new digitalized auto industry. Aneesh Padalkar, principal, and Nikhil Nayak, senior consultant at Ricard Strategic Consulting, will be this webinar speakers.
Oct. 20 Webinar: “5 Trends in 5 Minutes: Panel Discussion on Key Automotive Trends Impacting the North America Aftermarket.”
This webinar will highlight key industry trends impacting the global automotive aftermarket with a special focus on the U.S. import market. The panellists consist of Bob Cushing, executive vice president, Professional, Advance Auto Parts; Malcolm Sissmore, vice president, Sales North America Independent Aftermarket, Delphi; Bill Moss, owner, EuroService Automotive and president, BIMRS; John Treece, president and CEO, DMA Sales (panel moderator) and lastly, Todd Campau, associate director for Automotive Solutions, IHS Markit (speaker). This last webinar will reveal how 2020 sales are measuring up to expectations and share professional insights into consumer attitudes that will shape the coming years and provide an outlook for 2021 sales and beyond. Nathan Shipley, executive director and industry analyst, NPD, will be the speaker for this last APPEX’s weekly webinar.
The Virtual AAPEX Experience will serve as the hub of training, insights and connections for the more than $1 trillion global automotive aftermarket industry. It will feature instructor- and exhibitor-led training, product and equipment demos from industry suppliers, the New Product Showcase, and opportunities to connect one-on-one with exhibitors to talk products and conduct business.
